The area of Sassella, worthy of particular interest, is very steep,
well ventilated and very sunny. The tiny patches on the vines are literally
torn from the rock. Walking through these terraces you have the distinct
feeling of being in a very special, almost magical;
only in this way is it possible to understand its name.
During the day, the heat is confiscated by the rock and is ceded
to the surrounding bunches at sunset, which thanks to this produces a rich and structured wine.
The scent is characteristic with hints of raspberry, small fruits, but also of violet and rose hips; the taste is dry, velvety,
robust with possible hazelnut vein, with liquorice and dried plum.
