The sub-zone of Hell, with a name as singular as fascinating, refers to small terraced vineyards,
located between Poggiridenti and Tresivio, in rocky ravines and not easy to reach.
Slope portions where temperatures are particularly high in summer.
Hell is the smallest of the sub-denominations, it is located to the east of Grumello
and has a vine extension of 55 hectares.
The grapes of the area of Hell give a wine of character, suitable for long aging,
of a ruby red color tending to garnet. With aging it acquires particular fragrances of dried rose and hazelnut.
Its taste is dry, austere, slightly tannic and at the same time velvety and harmonious.
