Following a careful manual selection of the grapes, fermentation takes place with native yeasts and
separated for each individual parcel / vine whose assembly takes place only after
refining for 18 months in French oak barrels. A further 15 months in bottle completes the elevation
followed by the release in the various markets on October 1. Every year 5,000 - 6,000 bottles
are produced together with rare and precious large numbered sizes.
Guardiavigna is the name of the small watchtower located at the most scenic point of the farm.
Following a special release from the Historical Winery of Podere Forte we have packaged a limited number of this prestigious Cassa Collection custodian of our Cru Guardiavigna.
The Collection Fund contains four bottles, ie a vertical of 4 vintages: 2008 - 2009 - 2010 - 2011
