News on the Podere San Gregorio dates back to the eighteenth century, in fact it appears in a manuscript of the Episcopal Curia of Montepulciano which was owned by a convent of the Sisters of Chiusi. Since the fifties, the San Gregorio Company has made viticulture its vocation and since 1987 the marketing and development of the corporate brand has begun. The philosophy is based on the enhancement of the Tuscan culture, cultivating only vines that in these places have evolved and adapted over time. To confirm this rooting in the territory, the Cinta Senese has been breeding in the wild since the 2000s.
