Already four generations of the same family have succeeded each other at the head of 
the "Allegretti" Agricultural Company, a small production reality with strictly biological address,
 located about 2 km away. from Castelnuovo Berardenga (18 km from Siena) where the Crete Senesi
 give way to the Chianti hills. A stream, the malena, laps the property and marks the historical boundary
between the Chianti Classico and the Chianti Colli Senesi. The land where the vines were planted,
 due to their composition and exposure, has always been suited to the cultivation of
 classic vines (Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Trebbiano and Malvasia) which give life to the various wines
 produced on the farm. in particular the Sangiovese is used exclusively,
 for the production of Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, and, together with the other vines,
 for the common red table. Recently, to diversify production, vines of merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes
 have been planted that are the basis of the wineIi I.g.t. Tuscan producer "L'uzzolo".

Then there is a small production of vin santo of Chianti (Trebbiano and Malvasia)
 made with strictly traditional techniques, long aging and very high quality. Three hectares
 of intensive olive groves (varieties "Frantoio", "Leccino" and "Moraiolo") produce fruits that are
 harvested by hand and cold milled. extra virgin olive oil, obtained in this way, is decanted in ancient
 terracotta jars and then bottled or sold in bulk.
